    I don't get this.
I submitted a message to Adsense regarding my earnings.
One of my websites is being targeted and people are mass clicking the ads.
Its undoubtedly receiving a lot of traffic, but I have between 16% and 25% CTR in the past 3 days.
I asked adsense for help, be it to help determine who is clicking these ads and to block their IP's, or give me any further advice on the matter.

I know for this my adsense account is going to get banned, and I don't want that to happen.
I've seen it happen all too often.

This is the reply I got..
I can't believe it, how my question wasnt even attemtped to be answered.

    Hello,

Thanks for your email regarding your AdSense earnings. We've provided some
information below which we hope will address your question. As you know,
you can also find instant answers to some of our top questions in the
AdSense Help Center at www.google.com/adsense/support . If you still have
unresolved issues after looking through this material, please reply to
this email and we'll be happy to help you further.

    - How can I view my total clicks and earnings?

    Please follow the instructions at
    https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=40889 .

    - Am I being paid per impression or per click?

With AdSense for content, you'll receive earnings for valid clicks on
cost-per-click (CPC) ads and valid impressions on cost-per-impression
(CPM) ads. Please note that CPM ads will only appear if an advertiser has
bid to run ads on your site through site-targeting. To determine whether
site-targeted CPM ads have been appearing on your pages, please follow the
    instructions listed at
    http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=33973 .

    - How much am I earning per click or impression?

Your earnings will be determined by the amount the advertiser bids for an
ad, so we're not able to provide a specific earnings amount for clicks or
    impressions.

    - Why do I see clicks with no earnings in my reports?

This may occur for a number of reasons - please visit
    http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=14205 for more
    information.

    - When will I be issued a payment?

When your total unpaid balance reaches US $100 in any month, we will send
you a payment at the end of the following month, unless a payment hold
exists. If your account balance has not yet reached US $100, your earnings
will carry over to the following month and continue to accrue. For
    additional information, please visit:
    http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=9905.

    - I haven't received my PIN yet. Can you send me another one?.

You can request a new one - visit
    http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=14838 for
    instructions.

In addition, you might find the links at
    http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/topic.py?topic=8444 useful. If

It looks like, you were just trying to be nice and help the situation. Instead you got a feeble reply from what looks like an auto responder. The level of service is poor, but they do have a lot of members to go through.

They have an auto responder to simply reduce the mass number of emails they get. Reply them back and see what they say. Most likely, this time it'll be a real human at the end of the email.

    Yea, just use that.
Many accounts do get banned from Adsense, but many more than that do not, if that happened Adsense would be dead!

Anything under 30% CTR isn't that high. 22% has been my average CTR for many months on one of my sites.

I agree that your CTR is not that high. Why do you think it is targeting? Perhaps its just that you have your ads optimiized correctly. I have several sites with CTR higher than that and they have been for a long time.

I can understand that they do have a lot of emails to go through, but when we're looking at $xxx - $x,xxx figures daily, I'd expect some level of customer decency.
Thanks for the tip with Adloggger, I'll be installing that today and seeing what results it brings.

But with a page eCPM of nearly $40.. I don't even have that with YPN.

Thanks for all your help, guys!

They arent going to give you any information anyway due to their "proprietary technology"..
Just get Adlogger and deal with it yourself..

First of all, RELAX. Take a breath. Now, to protect yourself, make sure you collect all information regarding the day(s) that you were mass clicked. Keep those info close at hand in case you are banned for them. Then, calmly and civilly, email Adsense support and offer to send those IP logs to them to prove that you were sabotage. There's no use getting angry over it. If you DO get banned, just come back here and I'm sure there are plenty of people who can walk you through to getting unbanned.

BTW this type of reply from Adsense is their SOP. It's not that they don't "Give a F" about you, but they mave millions of publishers, and as you can imagine, it would take them years to get to every single email. I mean, can you imagine how many people email them silly "Is this okay"-type questions?

Maybe not, however I do expect google to investigate into these cases where their adveritsers are being scammed out of their money, and in the end the publishers pay.
I've invested a lot into this business and do not want to risk losing a large portion of my income due to circumstances that were not in my hands.

As I said, I've installed adlogger now and will see how things go from here.

Well if you make a lot of money for them, I'm sure they'll be more willing to "work with you" on getting unbanned (if you are banned).

I got that same email, pretty sure it's just an autoreply

I replied, copying and pasting my original email and received a proper reply (well, from a human atleast)

And yes, google don't give a toss

    Jack, thanks for the post.
I'm not getting angry, however as I said, when earning in the $xxx-$x,xxx range every day, I do expect some better form of customer service.
I was, at best, disappointed in googles manner of approaching this.
I would at least expect a way of contacting them directly.

I can imagine how many people ask idiotic questions, yet when it comes to issues such as this, I would have expected better.

The reason I'm bringing this up right now is because I want to protect myself.
I will be doing exactly what you had suggested (I logged all stats via extremetracking and analytics).
I had a friend who got banned recently as well for a similar issue..

Again, thanks for the help :)

Well, today I'm up to a 31% CTR.
I've installed adlogger and have found not one but several IP's clicking the ads repeatedly.. Not quite sure what to make of it.

A lot of people will tell you 16-25% CTR is not unheard of. I am not sure about your situation but I have read here that a lot of people get in excess of 10%.

I believe Adlogger has a function that allows you to ban certain IPs from seeing your ads. You might want to ban the ones that are clicking on your ads too many times. Also, I think Adlogger has a function that hides ads from individual IPs after a certain number of views. It really does sound like someone is activately trying to sabotage you, though...
