I don't know, email Bill Gates and ask him!

Is Google breaking the law and the constitution that the founding fathers of the United States of America laid down or is the Bush Administration??

    http://www.alternet.org/rights/30905/

The guy that wrote the above article knows a little bit about government and how to get burned by Bush as all Americans have been since the 2000 election fraud that the Nixon gang pulled off (remember Watergate = election fraud)....

You don't know? So why did you say Google would be breaking it if you don't know it even exists?

As I said in previous posts, I don't care about the US, 10% of the posts on these forums are probably Bush bashing. Everyone knows the US is corrupt, I just don't understand why you keep saying posting this stuff to a guy who lives over the other side of the pond, I can't help you.

Why don't you tell us what the law is, you are the one who asked the question

Do you think Tony Blair may want Google to give up some information, he is Bush's partner  :D

Sorry to admit it, but dislike google in a big way. I see the manipulation and the abandonment of original intent. The money has gone to their heads and too many people (usually those earning off them) play the game. Rollocks to em I say! Keep taking the money and delivering 'old results' and folk will get bored eventually. Too late for those guys to care already got what they need for a few lifetimes!, the rest is just for their ego..

Not exactly... But I prefer seeing his obvious 'Greed' worn on his sleeve! At least you know where you are and what he wants. With G, it's too 'variable' 'unpredictable' and they are extremely 'slimy'. They got us working like idiots just to try avoiding their disdain, when in reality, everyday they make millions at the expense of folk naive enough to 'hope' they are as 'Good' as they say they are....

Who is fighting the Bush Administration on the behalf of the American citizens right now and who will fight them all the way to the Supreme Court

    Sergey and Larry........

So you tell me why that is evil, OK

I think it is very brave of them and I support them 1000%

I think they are American Patriots and I think Bush and Cheney have sold the American citizens into great debt while they get away with a sack of gold on their backs!

Why is it that all their friends and associates are being investigated and some are even under indictment right now

No it is not for money, maybe for Bush it is, but this could hurt Google's stock, it could cost them a lot of money to defend this case.

But Sergey came out and said that they would fight it :D

As someone who has actually spent time in China and tried to use the internet there, I applaud Google for doing what it had to do to get into the market. They will never have chance to be part of the change that is sure to come in China if they aren't there at all.

Stock!!! Now really,,,, If you had stock in the volumes these guys have (let alone more than a few possible alternative revenue earners by now) you would be sure to secure a cash rich-no-matter-what position by now. These guys are smart, very smart indeed... Do you really think they are at risk if they lose.. nah.. impossible. China on its own could provide 'how many' new shiny headquarters-buildings if push came to shove.. Which it won't...

This is bigger than Google man, this is about the United States of America and the integrity of the nation and the constitution that the founding fathers gave us to follow!

This is about an administration that is out of control and is breaking the laws of the land that they are supposed to be enforcing!

In America even the President is not above the law and Bush and his buddies will learn that just like Nixon who they follow did!

The answer is that neither can be compared to the other in the first place!! There is no scale or measure that works (Political-puppetry, Endorsed Human suffering? Money-Magic? Self-made-Wars?) While google are involved with alot of things, they don't quite equal the power of presidents just yet...:D

Well why is Google evil when they are standing up to Bush whose approval ratings hit a low of 34% a month or so ago, do you think this is going to help Republicans win seats in the 2006 midterm elections

I know it is going to destroy them and I hope it does!

I would not vote for a Republican for Chief Dog Catcher!

What do you mean? Google haven't done anything to help the Chinese people, Yahoo and MSN are already established in China, Google just joined the bandwagon for the money.

I'm tired of people using 'Well filtered Google is better than no Google' as a valid point. It's really not, all the Chinese people got was more accurate search results (when I say more accurate, I mean MSN/Yahoo to Google, I personally don't see too much difference). They haven't got internet freedom, they haven't got access to anything new, all the Chinese people got was another search engine.

Google itself has suffered MAJOR PR issues, it's no wonder they're fighting the US government. They've basically admitted to pissing over their motto in their blog.
