In February 2008, Google continued their domination for search engine market share. I even think they have broke their own record, take a look at this image: Search Engine Market Share for February, 2008 In November 2007 Yahoo got 12.64% traffic from this search engine market share. It dropped to 12.46% in December, 12.23% in January, and still 12.23% in February. Google is even greater among students: February Share for Universities students: Google 90.7% Yahoo 5.6% MSN 1.9% Live Search 1.2% February Share for High Schools students: Google 93.1% Yahoo 4.0% MSN 0.2% Live Search 0.1%
Google is the king of search engines I agree and many others do as well. Thats why we all hussle to meet there every ending hurdles to pull to the top of the page and enjoy the view and the breeze of being a popular site and all that brings.
I don't doubt these figures, but you should always cite a source to data. I don't even see that massive China search engine on that graph, it's bigger than Google in China and they have over a billion people. Please cite your source.
Thats a dent, but a small dent none the less. They might actually LOSE percentages from the people who hate Microsoft by doing that.
I don't see how the search results from Google is better than Yahoo. I even get more good search results from yahoo.
