DP signature indexing in very short time...I got may links.. if check with any third party tool ("backlinkwatch.com") will knows.. and also atleast twice in a week works in DP is good , get link from signature and also many new thread with new infoirmation
The links you put here in your signature, if not related to SEO, webmaster, or anything that this forum is about, is going to hurt you more then its going to help you.
That is so because Google doesn't like link spamming plain, and simple. That is why new sites get deindexed because of massive promotion to unrelated sites, and directories. Google wants to see links coming to your site from related sites to what your site is about. So if you have a fish tank website with five-hundred links coming to it from, a webmaster site like Digital Point, its really doesn't look good on your part. Plus the visitors that do come to your site from Digital Point, are not really targeted visitors, and the only thing that the un-targeted traffic is going to do to your site is increase the bounce rate.
i dont think it does much, google are moody when giving link love to us, they make us work days and nights and even then there is no love, my heart is truly broken
I'm not totally sure about this. Please tell me how this theory is applied for a web development company they create sites for different different niche and get back links from footers, I noticed always they go up with PR.
Google certainly cares little about signature links but they are very good at increasing the crawlebility of your site.
Almost all of the links that I have are coming form this forum. You should wait. Google are very slow on indexing links.
Very well said. In my opinion, signature links are most used to try and generate interest in your site, not to build backlinks. Having 10 or 10,000 backlinks from the same site isn't going to make much of a difference.
if google doesn't recognize dp links then why they show link approved for particular website when we apply link command.
I do agree that sig links may not carry huge Link Juice, but everyone of them is being counted by Google.
Signatures have little value in improving page rank, but lets not forget them as a handy PR tool. After all you may generate some clicks through your posts/threads
