hey guys, Google doesn't recognize none of signature links that I have in this forum. it has been like two-three months already and google webmaster tools doesn't show anything. Should I be concerned? Thanks.
ez.... yea i dont think the signature link have mucH cred in a forum, but others will disagree... the guys at Digital point are well on it tho and with all this seo caht n the likes im sure google and DP have an understanding as to notfllow the links out this forum.... personally id be looking for a different forum if you wanna drop links, n use in content, i.e. anchor text not spammy signature links! peace out DCx
Yahoo does show the links the thing is that google should count it. I did show me it once but I changed the signature. Since that point , it never got back. It is strange.
how long ago did you change them ? i doubt they spider OLD posts very often so it would take time for the new links to show up.
Signature links are rubbish in terms of SERPs etc, however, it does boost the possibility of getting recurring visitors... There is always a chance someone will be interested in a signature link, and visit your site. Either way, forum links here are dofollow; meaning technically it will effect your SERP.. But not really anything noticable.. Hope this clears things up ^_^ Chuckun
isnt important how bad or good they are , the fact is useles links since most of all if not all of them have pr 0 , so links will help you only to get your sites crawled often and noticed by the search engines ( for example my links from signature on this post ) they arent worth for pr since this page is zero pr ... ... actually thats same for most of directories , its same like with directories links , you have a crappy site , you submit it to some category .... and the links show in some sub pages ... its good but this cant count on the pr since the pr of this specific page is zero ... or n/a ....
it got nothing to do whether they are good or bad. The question is: why webmaster tools doesn't show anything?
If thats the only way you know of getting traffic and back-links,, then YES i would be laterz malcolm
until you break couple of hundreds posts you wont fell the thing after that , believe me - you will be back posting posting posting BTW, DP signature links are dofollow but hi, it takes patience- just like in any other business BTW2, some of the threads here are PR4 any more questions?
this thread is days old how would you expect to be anything more than PR0? I doubt if it ever gets higher than PR0 though, since most posts here are low quality anyway.
None of my signature links show up much on Google, but THEY DO show up and in cases of PR links, it DOES help...
