Google doesn't like expired domain?

Is any difference for an expired domain and a brand new domain? I mean google index time...

I bought an expired domain with PR and backlinks but de-indexed, usually how long will google re-index it (already built a website on the domain)?

    Thanks for reply.

You should definately check it with SEOLOGS at seologs.com/pr-check/pagerank.html

I've wanted to start a discussion for some time now about this. I've heard .com and .nets lose pr status instantly after expiration but .biz and .info are maintaining their pr status throughout expiration. Any more comments on this?

    thanks,

    Jonathan

Just give it time...1-2 months and let us know the results. Do normal link building etc as required.

I suppose google treats it as a brand new domain.Just wait for a few months and keep building backlinks.

Give it time and Google will index it once again. My best guess is that google is treating it as a new site since it knows that the domain expired (google is a registrar).
