Google doesn't index my image files

Hi,

I have a website basically consisting of pictures with thumbnailed galleries. I have a sitemap.xml and submit my page into lots of search engines.
I have lots of visitors from google searches.
Google indexed more than 1000 pages of my site.
But none of my images are indexed on google images search.
What should I do for my pictures to show on google image searches (and other search engines)

 

Google indexes my images every 3 months but pages every day.

 

are the images on your website optimized?

have you added alt tags with proper descriptions of the images? This should help.

 

Are they not indexed or just not showing in searches. There's a big difference. You can wait a long time to get traffic from image search.

i get no results in image search
(i got more than 1000 results in normal google search)

you re sure, ALT tag and descriptions with image included, google crawlers read them

i double checked now,
i have all alt and title attributes filled
