Google doesnt check Site Ownership?

Well I know most of you would have noticed this a 100 times
but today i just feel likes discussing it :p

When you sign up for adsense they ask you to put site URL and they check your site and then approve/deny your application

what if i put someone else's site's URL there to deceive google to check my application for that site and approve it

now when the true owner of the site registers or signs up for adsense...he may get rejected because it would be the second time someone would be signing up for the same site

    isnt this unfair

in short......Google doesnt check site ownership..weird isnt it?

I do think they will notice if that site does not get adsense ads within say a month. Google will also notice if the real site owner turns up and asks for an adsense account.

    lol the question is

how will they know "he" or "he" which one is the real site owner :)

and talking about noticing if the site doesnt put google ads

dude me myself registered with an old site of mine and got approved but never got to use the ads on that site bczthe site wasnt successful so i closed it and then used the google ads on my other sites and earned happily

google never said a word like "wheres the site u signed up with?" :)

Yep... You're correct. they'll check the ownership only during delivering first check by phone call.

If you've registered for some one's site, you can't upload the google ad in that site. When the orginal owner is applying for adsense, he will also be accepted for the same site. (Google thinks you sold that site to the orginal owner)

In the end they won't care, as long as you don't break the TOS.

A definite "NO" to this assumption.
I registered with a site, where I NEVER put up adsense ads. It even was a site in a different language than the main site I have been using now for almost 2 years to happily earn adsense $$$.
So I think as long as you don´t break the TOS and earn good money (for them) you´re fine.

Once there is a problem, it will be very easy for the real owner to prove ownership of the site. Then you'll get kicked out and lose any money that you've made.
Best bet is just to make a quick blog on blogger, then apply for adsense, you should get in as long as you follow their guidelines.

yes, i also think that, they dont care about ownersite, becoz someone use sub domain like abc.co.nr or abc.2ya.com so they may be dont sign up the sub domain with correct infomation, but they still accept that site. I thinks they care about your content rather than owner site
