I guess its a fluke that I have articles on page one from PR 4, 5 etc.

 

So much for the Post. They seem to have trashed Slate.com. I used to be a fan. I didn't know they were selling links...

WP visitors and readers don't care about PR. They even don't know what PR is.

 

I think WP cares about having visitors and how to monetize their contents to keep on delivering.

 

Here the problem is for webmasters like us, having a couple of site, for "common" users, they dont know about Google world, they only search something and always something find out..

The problem is for us that we know about Google penalties, Google down, google up, goole serp updated, etc etc..

wp is stil a pr7 for me. That seems a little low anyway IMO. You would think a major paper like that would be at least a pr8 or 9

 

i love the part where you link to "your" digg post, rather than the actual article.

 

I doubt google will actually lower their serps, they probably consider them a high trust domain, they'll just lower the value of their outbound links
