Hello Experts, When I try to search a keyword in google say job www.google.com/search?q=job&hl=en&lr=&start=1000&sa=N It seems google only serves 1000 search results per query So does it mean , there can be only atmost 1000 webmaster competing for a keyword ?
They probably just break it off there because after that the results become irrelevant - or, the user should be searching for something more specific. Also, they probably have data suggesting people don't search past x amount of pages, so why waste resources.
1000 results has been standard for a long time. If you're not in the first three pages for a keyword, traffic would be insignificant anyway.
There vare probably more than 1,000 competitors for any given search term - whether they know they are competing or not.
