Google does not download my sitemaps since Jul 22

    My sitemap status is "Pending" since then. Google accessed my sitemaps in an hour time after resubmitting them before. But now things seem to have been changed... Is this a common problem?

    This is happening to all of us. I think Google is in the middle of a major update or PR update.

    I have 35 active sites and all have had this problem.

    It should work now. It seems that Google is good to go once again.

    Normally take 2-3 days to update after resubmit

    I think you are right. Earlier on, google was downloading my sitemaps everyday but it takes 2-3 days.
