Completely agree with you. I'm still not sure about the rules as a lot what people write in here is bunch of crap. I haven't found anything in the TOS which would mention paid traffic or adbrite as prohibited however I found some idiotic terms like - follow or according to "google's spirit". What the hell is Google spirit? So you can do whatever you want as long as Google is in a good spirit but watch out on the bad spirit days One more thing which comes to my mind is that if really Google wouldn't allow us use other PPC or adbrite then that smells a bit as breaking antimonopoly laws. By the way which PTC are you recommending ? I always thought they are waste of time but obviously you have different experience.
A lot of higher paying ads are geographically relevant too, if your traffic isn't that great of course they aren't going to pay you that much.
Well Lot of stuff is going on. And i found many things which are totally Wrong. So Let me Clear you That the Paid Traffic is allowed for google Adsense Pages. let me define the Paid Traffic which is allowed for google. Paid traffic Means: 1. The Paid Traffic Shouldn't be PTC(Paid to Click) or any Incentive Based Traffic.including Paid to Read etc.. 2. It Should be Targeted And Relevant. 3. It should Not Be coming From Adult Sites. 4. Should not be a Raw/Mainstream Traffic. which is mostly coming from Adult/Warez websites 5. Try not to use Popup Traffic. so if you have above things, there is no problem using the Paid Traffic. Below are some Websites you use for paid advertisments. 1. Adwords ( The Best, Full targeted And Relevant) 2. Facebook ( Exceptional targeting, you can even Target gender and ages) 3. Adbrite ( Very good, But the conversion is not good, As most of its Ads are CPM Based) Some other good and quality paid traffic sources might be Social networking/Bookmarking Sites. Try to Avoid Buying Traffic from Ebay, and something like that. Hopefully this Information help many users. Please let me know if someone need additional help Yahoo :
Thanks jazzy for contribution. It clears a lot of what was said in here. I wish people would only comment when they know for sure not when they heard it or thought so. It creates too much confusion
If you use traffic exchange, PTC, paid traffic etc, your account will definitely be in danger. Check these from adsense help center A note on traffic exchange programs Can I use traffic exchange?
The know the conversion rate of different traffic sources. Traffic from a poor converting sourcw, including geographic regions, will pay pittance.
thats what google is..it is a java script that will keep track to where the ads is serv..also in adwords publishers can select where to serv thier ads, specific city, place or whatever..
