Google Docs

Hi! Just wanna ask here if someone have heard Google Docs? Do you think it can help us with our SEO optimization?

 

I guess google Docs have nothing to do with search engine optimization.

As far as I understand it allows you to open/read .doc & .xls files (microsoft word and excel files) may be allowing you to save them offline/online.

 

I have read that you can choose whether the documents are private/public if you want your document to be seen by others.

 

It's just an online word processor and calc sheet... so you don't need MS Office, or Open Office... ok... maybe not at the moment, but if this will work well in future, then you can

1) create and edit your text documents online (and the other)
2) keep it online, and access to it from every computer with internet connection...

live is turning into a browser...

 

I am working quite a lot with google doc. So far it is good but not good enough.

 

It has nothing to do with seo....it just allows you to read office documents in your browser

 

But it can also be one technique to be a source of traffic because documents can be publish online. And links from the documents can get traffic.

But I'm not sure if google crawls the live links in the documents.

 

But if you want to put your document online for public to view, why not the plain html pages?

 

google docs will not help your seo.

it's a similar web service to microsıft office .
