Google Docs as a new marketing Channel?

What do you guys think? I've recently been nagged in Google docs that I can upload all sorts of files now, not just Word docs, PowerPoints and so on.

So I have this idea of uploading images and other things and marking them as public...just wondering if anybody else sees any marketing potential for this?

 

good idea, if the google docs(images) have a good rank on google.

 

I'm anxious to see if it gets ranking. I also noticed that images are actually stored in their Picassa space. hmm...

Very interesting idea... how would you make your documents known to public though?

 

I ofent use Google Doc. It is very useful. I hope more people use it, too.

 

Upload them to google doggs then digg them? Will that work?

 

Yeah! I think so...I found something pretty cool...when you create a new doc, you can immediately share it and let people edit/contribute, without logging in. I've posted the link in my signature for fun if interested. I think Imma play around with this a little more.

 

If you can come up with something that will draw folks in, I say go for it. It seems like there's a bunch of possibilities. In fact, I'm unsure why you even shared the idea here first instead of going out and doing some experiments!
