Most of my post from a certain category got DMCA about 700 pages hit.. Is it time to change domain?

My domain is 3 yrs and PR2 and got hit by hummingbird/penguin updates from 10k Unique Visits now down to 3k will be lower this coming days because of the DMCA I received yesterday.

If yes what are your tips on atleast maintain some of my ranks in google/yahoo/bing etc when I switch domain

    Thanks

Out of curiosity, why you should change the domain if you get DMCA for your contents?

In my opinion is useless if you change the domain but still post the same content. Soon or later you will get DMCA again.

Regarding rebuild your new domain rank, just do what you do with your previous content. :D

Switch Domain isn't a Solution! You will switch the domain & everything will be same like old like content, Images, & designs. So after changing Domain, Google won't read your domian as new ! Domain will be counted like old domain.

To recover Domain to hummingbird update, Now Make Natural & strong Backlinks, Make Long Tail Keywords & Avoid BlackHat ! Follow these steps. These will help you to recover your website to hummingbird update.

Your content got hit with DMCA, not the domain so switching the same content to the new domain will not help.
On the other hand, if you were hit by unnatural links (Google Penguin) then changing the domain would make sense if you don't want to clear up the bad links.
