Google Directory question

    When I search for my site in the Google dir, it shows OK, but when I go to the corresponding category, it's nowhere to be found. Is this normal? When should I expect to appear in the category? Will it appear there at all? :)

    Google hasn't updated the listings since Feb. 2006. The directory search DB is updated regularly. Whether or not G will ever update the live version of the directory is any one's guess.

    It seems that Google has already started the long-awaited update of their directory. The new directory can be seen at http://gfe-bu.google.com/Top/ and some other data centers. Hopefully It should roll out to other Data centers also soon.
