Google did some adjustments recently

    My website disappeared 2 weeks ago on google, then came back again last few days with the same keyword , with some shifts in search engine position.

    Google has been testing different sets of algo over the last few months. Lots of changes in backlink info, SERPs and PR calculation has been going on which Google says is to better its search results based on organic results on not by SEOing/manipulation by buying high PR links for keywords/phrases.:(

    it happened to me a few months ago but lasted only for a day. it was strange because I kept getting visitors from my keyword but couldn't see my website anywhere.

    ya my site also disapeared i have one of my site it,s page rank was 5 with 64 links and i have another side it,s page rank is 3 with 64 links dont know what is google doing.

    Yes there are some changes.Google cleared some of my index which is unique.
    After it took again.Now it cleared again.(since 4 days it do this).i think google trying different algos.

    I am guessing that the long term plan for Google is to de-emphasize links (which are easily manipulated) and begin to use the data that they are collecting from their toolbars and analytics to rate sites. The links idea is O.K, but only when coming from trusted sites, such as .edu or .gov. Otherwise, I think that Google is recognizing the limitations of its original algorithms. There goal is to get valued content into the top SERP pages. Everything else doesn't matter.

    I tried to sell a domain name on a auction site .PR was valid during the auction .End of the auction , some
    google links went missing and the PR cannot be verify so the buyer refuse to buy it.

    I think google is changing its algorithm to make seo specialists busy as they are researching about the algorithm.
    It would be fruitful if we optimize our sites again.

    Yes Lot's of SERPS change in my sites also , almost lost in all keywords
    Don't know when it will come back in many k/ws one of my site was coming , now completely GONE :(:(
