Google Description Text

Initially every page of my site had the same description text, so I updated my site so that the description text on each of my pages is unique. At the same time I also updated the title texts.

Google recently did an update of its index for my site and now has the new title text for each page, but the description text is still the old one. Anybody know why?

Ya..It seems you have to wait for some more time to get the description updated. As my knowledge the title text is updated very easily.

Is the old description still on your page somewhere? If so then that could be the answer!

Many of us no longer thing G looks at the meta description for what is placed in the description. If I make a change to the title and the description, it appears that both change at the same time.

Just give it more time. It takes 1-2-3 weeks for Google to update your description.
Don't be surprised if you lose your SERP after that. That's quite normal.
