My Adsense check this month was deposited into an account I closed earlier, but I didn't switch the payment details on time? How long does it take to get my money? I've emailed Adsense about it, but they are saying it takes 48 hours to respond.

Damn. You're screwed. Why don't you go to your bank and ask them if you can re-open it and get the money?
What day did you change your bank account?

if the bank account is closed the bank is supposed to send the money back to the sender ( in this case it's adsense ). for now correct your payment info and explain it all to adsense. Hope this helped.

UPDATE: I went to the bank, had them reopen my account, and I got my Adsense money. I've closed the account and now I've added a new account to Adsense, and I will get Google to deposit it in the new account from now on.

Someone ran an unauthorized charge on my account, thats why I had to close it.............damn scammers.

You may better mail the adsense support before they claim for the transfer to the bank, because you told that you had emailed adsense about it.

its absolutely no problem. The check will not be cleared.
Wait untill the check gets invalid and they will adjust the money.

I keep a bank account open ONLY for adsense and thats it. That way I can avoid fraud, track my payments on one statement, etc. Works out pretty well, and sense checking accounts are free it is awesome. I go through Bank of America. On my online screen, any account with my SSN shows up together. I can transfer money from my adsense checking acccount to my main in a matter of seconds. I also own an ING Orange savings account for tax witholdings. That way I make 5% on my tax money!
