Hi, My site, which was getting good traffic from google as brought a surprise this morning. I noticed that my traffic was way down, so I start to check my keywords serp only to find that my site got completly de-indexed in Google. I have no page whatsoever in the index. Is this common ? If so, can it be temporary ? What should I do to resolve this problem ? How do I get info if my site was ban ? My site is about financial news with rss feeds and original home content.
Thats probably why...rss feeds its happened to me - I was getting about 400 unique's a day and now get about 20 - lol.... build quality sites with unique content.. google has been de-indexing auto sites lately with no real value to it...
BTW - are you the new owner of the site ? I know which site u are referring to and it was on sale recently on dnforum... just curious... thanks You should create a sitemap and submit it to google asap and see what happens... also get some more quality backlinks...
Seems you two know some thing we don't know instep to help you out OP, do you mind sharing your website url ?
thats not the right way to see google indexed pages its just the way to search through normal keywords you can check indexed pages by using site:www.itaxrebate.com and it shows 0 results
I have the same problem also. I can't get traffic from google searches anymore. While just two days ago, I was on the first page of almost every article I posted. I'm SEOing once again, still no luck.
You have your site appearing in serps due to various backlinks generated by your submission to various other sites, but the direct link to your site is missing... Your site has certainly been de-indexed by google! I fail to fathom the reasons for it as it can just be a temporary glitch too. Try re-submission through various indexing methods, once again. Regards, RightMan
I hate to say it but yes your site looks banned... I dont know what if anything you did wrong so check in your google webmasters tools to see if you find anything out. You might want to send a reclusion request after you find out why?... thx M1
Does this mean that I'm banned? What other methods should I try? I just continue on submitting my posts to other sites like reddit and mixx. I get high traffic from there, but no direct link
You'll have to forgive me but seeing your name with a Banned tag....that says something on the way you perform your SEO campaigns
I can's say I ever was banned and shudder to think about it, so I would try to find out why and fix the problem and ask for a re-inclusion from google.. Like others have said before.. Look through you webmaster tools from google and try to pin-down the reason for the ban might point to a solution. From what I read in the past a ban is not temporary, please someone correct me if I am wrong here?
The same thing happened to my site too http://techtadka.net I noticed a drop in traffic and ignored it until almost no traffic came to my site in an hour... i googled the keywords on which pages from my site were ranked in the top 5 spots .... all gone ! at first i thought maybe i have been demoted in the rankings but shockingly i found out that the pages have been de-indexed altogether , the strange things were - I wasen't banned as my home page was still indexed - Only some of my pages were de-indexed ( unfortunately the ones that got the most traffic ) - Most strange of all, the digg pages linking to my articles were de-indexed too. I did later found out that the hosting server was down for some time .. but it was 2 days ago and for 1 -2 hours ... So how is it that the pages were de - indexed 2 days later and isisn't 2 hours a bit harsh to de-index a page ? If anyone has had the same experience and has better luck with getting their pages reindexed , please share with us ...
maybe google is doing some filtering whether the site is doing black hat, why don't you check your site and see if something looks black hat.
Perhaps Google noticed some irregularities in the speed at which you were acquiring backlinks. That seems to be one of the reasons they will ban a site.
