Sorry, can't seem to change to equi-width font here, and inserted spaces get wiped.

<edit>To show the relationship between the gfe list above, and current known data centers, I went ahead and made a VIOLET text overlay of all the data centers listed above, in my Google Data Centers file in my sig. below. I wonder what the significance of the new (old?) IP monikers is? I think they are long past the experimental stage, because they have been in use for some time. ??? OR, are these about to become the "hot, new" data centers of choice?
    gfe-wr3.google.com (64.233.185.147) doesn't work for me. </edit>

Nice forum Darrin with lots of good info. I'm wondering though why registration is closed. Is posting limited to a specific group?

    Yes.

Not quite - SEO's mainly a hobby now instead of a professional thing, other than the small bit of consultation on the side.

Something like that.. This forum is a lot better anyways, so you'd probably be just missing out if you went elsewhere!

Anyway - I wasn't sure if these had been out there - it didn't believe they were since I'd never seen them - they should save us time over the ip's.

    Oh and one more thing:

    http://www.seotown.com/googlelinkcheck/

Will make it easier to see changes across the board. If you like the tool, please let your friends know!

I will be adding a way to check specific urls over the coming day or so.

Nope - i just go through phases of different things - this must be an SEO one :)

May have spoken too soo on that last one - had something all done up that checked each DC, but they appear to have gotten much better over the past few months at detering automated queries - oh well.... time to go rooting for some proxies :)

Darrin, if you added a place where people could subscribe to an alert when a change does occur, you may get a nice list built / throw in a little advertising... and my cut's 10% don't forget!

Actually - that was one of the first ideas I had. As you might know, I've never been one to commercialize things - so 10% of nothing would still add up to 0 :)
