Shuffle of the Google index... changes in the way the sites are listed, etc.

"The name "Google Dance" has often been used to describe the index update of the Google search engine. Google's index update occurred on average once per month. During an index update there was significant movement in search results and Google showed new backward links for pages. However, in mid-2003 Google started to update it's index continuously. It appears that, still, there has to be an update of the complete index once in a while and during this time new backward links are shown. But, because of the continuous update, the effects on search results seem to be rather insignificant."

So you'll see changes to the index every now and then.
    Google dance is pretty normal.

For new sites, it's common to see it disappear from the index for a few days, then come back again, then disappear and appear and so on and so forth. Nothing to worry about. Just keep posting content.

Google dance means you can see changes in SERPs and also in PR of web sites.

For example one day my site was on 1st page with 1 keyword, and after 2 days i could not found my iste in top 10 pages :(. So experts called it Google Dance.

You can read more details from this below article.

Google questions belongs in the Google forum, so you may receive an infraction for posting here.

About your question, I have never seen a search engine "dancing", at least not, literarlly, so I believe it's associated with the weird behaviour of that search engine.

One day your site is listed, one other not. I'm blonde so that's only my opinion, but probably not the real thing :\

google dancing is the other word for google updates and it happens every quarter of the year, google do that to show which websites are very competitive according to the niche. They also rank your website in many different aspects by age, content, alexa rank, backlinks of your site. That's why when you got high rankings due to the age or having a good content and after the updates expect that you loose your rankings and the worst you can't find it on top 1000 results in google.

Google dancing means updation of indexed data in their data centres by google called google dance.
Googles shows fresh data in their data centres. Google have 3 datacentres. One by one all datacentres updated.

The change in SERPs caused by an update of the Google database or algorithm. The cause of great angst and consternation for webmasters who slip in the SERPs. Or, the period of time during a Google index update when different data centers have different data.
