LOL... This is the first time I've ever heard of a "Google Dance" prediction... I'd say "ALGO UPDATE" prediction would be SOMEWHAT feasible... but Google Dance?!
You can get FULL details of the Google dance at these secret URL's... http://www.google.com/googledance2003/ http://www.google.com/googledance2004/ http://www.google.com/googledance2005/ http://www.google.com/googledance2006/ There's other more secret ones, but i can't post because they lead to the true inner workings of Google.
And Google can even release their dance album... Nothing new mate, always happening to almost every website that ranked on the net.
LOL - awesome. I just went to Google Dance 2008. Tons of fun (and many thanks to Google for it of course. And for the questions - the Google Dance (as you're referring to it) is a term used once-upon-a-time when Google used to hold major updates every 4 to 6 weeks during which the results would fluctuate significantly and then hold for another 4 to 6. Back in the "olden days" there would be predictions but they're kinda useless now. Now a prediction of this type os basically irrelevant - Google updates MUCH more frequently though usually with smaller tweaks rather than major ones. A better system as far as I'm concerned. I'd like to see the term Google Dance resurrected though just cuz it brings back good memories. Cheers !!!
Back even earlier it was close to every 3 months, so optimizing was change meta keywords... Wait 3 months then go Doh! I knew i shouldn't of included that stop word, back to the drawing board for another 3 months lol
Google dances all the time. Same thing with pagerank ... stop worrying about it and keep on links building.
Fluctuations in SERP. Bounce from #1 to #10 to #blah... sort of like a dance... moving back and forth.
