the indexed pages on a few sites jumped about 10x from yesterday but haven't propagated to all dc-s yet
besides that i don't see any big pr or ranking changes. just the usual daily ups and downs

I had no PR, then yesterday got PR4, today no PR and my traffic has almost disappeared. My site has content, 99% original by me and has been doing well in Google for 4 months. What has happened? Should I be worried?

Google is finally showing me some Love!

I have been in the sandbox for 4 months. Now i am out and immediately rank in top 10-20 for a lot of keyphrases. I quadrupled my traffic and revenue, thanks Google :)

I noticed this around last week while talking with a friend on MSN and he saw the regular Pagerank for the website, while I saw the old Pagerank for the domain name.

I thought it was a simple roll-back or something that they were fixing, but I doubt a rollback would have lasted this long..

Google dont dance anymore lol but anyways no changes in any of my 4 sites in PR, BL count, or traffic. I think people are just getting excited and jumping the gun for the PR update as always. I would not expect an actual Google update until at least the last week of December.

Not saying there was no change as Google updates its algo and search results constantly just meant there is no PR update or Backlink count update at the moment and the long wait is making people over excited.

My theory is that when Google do updates/downgrades they target certain areas/themes and that is why not all of us see changes at the same time. I have several sites in different niches and I can see when updates are going on that some goes up, some goes down and some actually stay the same all the time. Too bad that the ones that stay the same don't have a lot of visitors

As I have just posted in another thread, I am seeing a HUGE increase in poor quality traffic. My referrer SPAM is astronomical. Maybe it's just the season, I don't know. But I'm getting some of the WORST traffic that I've ever had.

It took me a few weeks to figure this out, but it's the reality. :(

Because of this, I cannot say with certainty that this update has been good to me, although my rankings have definitely improved.

Try Google search ... Keyword = everflux

    :D

    have fun with that

And another reason we see changes at different times is due to the Google system is a distributed computing environment so changes do not occur instantly.
