Has anyone experienced google dance yesterday? It happned for few adult keywords (like "porn tv"), but I expect it to be back in few days (it happens few times a year. Anyone else noticed it?
Google has been dancing a LOT lately! In the last month we have seen constant movement almost every day.
I need to add this current hits for keyword I mentioned contain a lot of main stream (non adult) hits that don't make much sense also a torrent site. This has happened few times before and when it happens search results suck. I don't know why google does that, maybe when they experience large amount of spam in their index and want to return to some safer old result?
In the last month, my site has been moving from page 1 to page 3 like every other day for a popular keyword.
Probably an attempt by google to discourage people to be searching for such a keyword, by giving them crappy result for the same! They probably tried pleasing morally tight people who complained in the past of SE's displaying porn sites without any warnings or filter! Regards, RightMan
If you want a response from google on why they are dancing so much lately vote for my question here (http://moderator.appspot.com/#9/e=a5513&t=Why+is+google+dancing+so+much+lately) and hopefully Matt Cutts will provide an answer.
for a moment I thought you were right there, but I see now that the very first result takes you directly to very graphical images
I am not too sure about porns but for sure my blog did show some dance. For the keywords it used to appear on results very well, it is not showing up since yesterday. Not not too sure if its google dance or some sort of a penalty.
it looks to me that more results from very established sites are mixed in, even if they don't really add to quality of actual search results (people are probably looking for something else than news articles when they search for porn tv) what do you think?
Google seems to move me EVERY SINGLE DAY! Can you imagine how much money google would get if they actually made a guide to getting to the top in SERPS in google?
