Google Cut My Sitelinks...

Hey All:

Google cut my Sitelinks from 8 to 3. Just noticed it today. The links that were cut were the most valuable to me, so I'm thinking this may be a new Sitelinks policy, i.e. don't show sitelinks for pages that are too commercial.

Anyone else had their Sitelinks cut recently?

 

I have noticed sitelinks on a couple of my sites drop to 6 or 7 for a few days then go back up after a while. I wouldn't worry too much unless the links stay down for a few weeks.

 

Sitelinks will generate automatically. Which are the pages getting more traffic it will generate for the sitelinks?

 

You are not alone. Many sites have the same problem with Google's links count.

I think it's jut another regular updating, anyway i also notice one of my previously owned site get nothing from 8 sitelinks today.

 

just an update so i have been told you should be ok in a week or so

 

I have noticed the same thing for my sites. Firstly when I checked the links for my site when the Google was updating its database, may be for PR but still not happened, I found that various links are counted by the Google for my site and after some time some of those links was eliminated from the list.

Why it happened, i don't know the actually reason. But I notice that Google have taken various links as in consideration from the same sites or IP and later these some was eliminated from the back link results.
