Says I am qualified for a custom url: it says: google.com/+myname/(add more numbers or words) If I add more numbers or words then it would look like: google.com/+mynamewhatever not exactly a custom url if I have to Add to it.... Are you sure you want to change your page's URL to: google.com/+MynameMyname What am i missing here?
You can use your place or relevant keyword to customise the url. You can use an hyphen to separate it, so as it looks like google.com/+Myname-Myname
They do that to deter just any random person from stealing the URL of businesses and celebrities Link your domain name to your Google+ profile and then verify it Link an email of your website to your G+ profile and then verify it Phone verify your Gmail account if it isn't already After this you're not required to add additional characters to the URL. I've dealt with that many times.

After waiting 32 days I got my custom vanity URL. I got after 32 days latter that in my about me section of my google plus profile there under link tab showing " Pre approved URL including Google.com/+robinbd4u " . At that time I claim it and got my desired URL. Now I am very happy with Google Plus. My Google plus profile now is plus.google.com/+robinbd4u or google.com/+robinbd4u You could visit my Google Plus Profile. This is so much pleasure for me.
