Google Custom domain and duplicate content problem

    Hi

I have converted my blogspot blog into custom domain, by using google’s custom domain service. When it is converted into main domain from blogspot then all my content and design shifted into my new domain. These entire things happen automatically. My question is, if google shifted all my old content into my new domain then google consider my article as a duplicate, because same content are still present in my old blogspot blog. Dose google penalize my site for this. Please suggest what should I do in this case.

    Regards
    Jhon

i think they will consider your articles as duplicate
but in some ways..bcoz u have done it from google
a little chance to being banned as duplicate

I don't think so, cz it's redirecting your blogspot to your newer custom domain.
And Google keeps record of it.

I think blogger will send a 301 or 302 redirect from your old blogspot to your new custom domain, so there's no risk of duplicate content.

I agree with charroseo, as your blog is opening with both the URL so it must be redirect.

    Thanks...

I dont think they will consider it as duplicate content too, since you used Google custom domain service.
