I try to install Chrome today, when I check my site it was deformed.. but It is good in Firefox.. What are the browser compatibility issue of the new Google Chrome? I saw the video from youtube, they said that browser compatibility in not a problem.. Any one experience it?
Well.. Chrome uses the same rendering engine as Safari, so if it doesn't work on Chrome it probably won't work on Safari.
Chrome is now my default browser. its clean, fast and does the job. And just imagine, all this in BETA phase only....
I believe it is a good start. I installed Google Chrome and I am very surprised with the speed, performance and design. The most impressive feature is that you can search directly from the address bar. You do not need even a search box on your browser anymore because Google combined address bar with search box together. You can read little more about Google Chrome features here.
I'm using it right now and loving it. Pages loading quick as anything and loving the behind-the-scenes features (it's brilliant from a coding perspective - http://www.google.com/googlebooks/chrome/). Not customizable at all atm (which is a big thing Firefox has going for it), but it's my default browser for now. Oh yeah: Speed test: Google Chrome beats Firefox, IE, Safari (http://news.cnet.com/8301-1001_3-10030888-92.html).
I just found out that Google Chrome does not support HTML code if you are working in your website admin area to write a post or an article. Chrome shows a link which says if you want to use HTML code in your page, you should download Firefox. I found it out when I wanted to write a new post on my website. This is the only disadvantage that I have seen so far.
It's in BETA, don't worry about compatibitly at the moment. Plus it uses the same rendering engine as Safari, so if it doesn't work in chrome, it's not going to work in safari, and vice versa. If you code to standards it shouldn't be a problem.
I hope google would fix this problem/bug soon and release stable version... And also it should be great if they will add some add-ons like firefox
Yep.. but as for just general browsing/checking e-mail and what not.. I believe it's quicker than the others
