Google criteria of impression

    Hi friends
    can any explain the Google criteria of impression?
    my old host hostmonster's aw-stat was differ than google impressions as well my new host uacommunication's stat is also differ. Approximately if hosting stat tells 500 visitors than google reports only 360 impressions........ why much differ?

    Google impression is about the times the ads was shown to your site. Maybe the aw-stat number is not accurate like SE bots visit are being counted while they don't show ad impression.

    impression means how much time that particular adv view by that keyword

    google show only the impression from google network not from others..........while aw shows you all including your own click.............
