Google Crediting others for your Work

No, I have already told you that is not possible. You can only do one of two things:

1) Block it and display nothing so that the third party web site shows a broken image.

2) Block it and display an alternative image, such as a thief.gif type image which shows that the third party web site is hotlinking the image.

Just because it is called a redirect does not mean that you can redirect a user. All you are doing is redirecting the request for a specific file, you choose whether to serve that request or not. You cannot hijack the traffic, the Internet does not work in this way otherwise the whole of the Internet would be more insecure that it already is.

 

If you're really sure, its working, then I trust you on that.

Ok 2 out of 3 images have been de-indexed by Google and my Firefox shows the same too.

But a single image of mixupdate is still displayed on that site through my firefox and also Google has not de-indexed it.

So can you make a check over that site again for me, just to make sure that the 1st image of mixupdate.com is viewable or not ? Thanks.

Just in case as it maybe requires more time for de-indexing.
