Google crawling pages quite quickly and often

On my fairly new website, Google has been crawling it with multiple hits (about 5-20) an hour. The site is about 2 weeks old.. not a whole lot of traffic yet. But, pretty much I'm just wondering what's typical for Google crawling. Am I getting a alot of hits from google or not? Is this gunna help my google rank?

If your site have lots of content and updated regulerly, I think google will crawl your site more often.

Well i think there is some kind of google filter on indexing competitive keywords domains because i launched four websites last week all indexed in less than 24 hours but the one containing the competitive keyword is not yet indexed, Just to share... maybe it's really exist ?

 

if your site is new, you must wait and continue to build backlinks

That would be possibly if you update your site frequently. A big chances that it will be crawl.

 

i one of the reason is because of dropping of supplemental result.. just like what matt cutts said... gone supplemental
