    I've seen that happen before in less than an hour on a PR3 blog a few times.

    When you create a new post Google gets pinged and crawls your homepage within the next 2 or 3 minutes. An hour later the fresh content is in Google's index ready to be served up in the results.

    Possibly. I knew about the blogsearch crawling fast as it gets results from technorati. But this is new for me.

    high PR site will be crawled more often that's something can be expected. anyway you might can start business offer service to get crawl in 24hrs for 50 cents :p
