Is it really effective if we change Crawel rate in Google Webmaster panel to change the speed of indexing our website's pages?
How much does it related to pagerank?

higher crawl rate mean you have big content in your website need to be crawl. Eg. you have 500 new post.

    - It has nothing to do with your site pagerank
    - Google has set an optimum crawl rate for each site individual. It has no reason to change them unless your site updated in a couple of minutes cycle.

Right, I think you might set up the crawl frequency according to your site refresh rate.
It has no relation with PR and would only make your pages being crawled more frequent, IMO.

I agree with Sperm, Google has set an optimum crawl rate for each site individual. It has no reason to change them unless your site updated in a couple of minutes cycle.

It controlled by Google, but you can change crawl rate. When you often change website, you will keep bot crawl on site.

I always buy content or write content before I make a new website. So I prefer the high rate because I'll need about 200-300 pages indexed as quickly as possible.

I suggest staying with what is recommended by google, i.e. let google to decide.

I think it depends on your website. Any new page on my website appears within 1 hour. If google detects, that your website gets new content very frequently, it adjusts the visit rate accordingly.

This is what I feel too. I don't think it is that simple or that we can do this.
From what I know, Once you are indexed, maintaining a good crawling rate depends on your SEO work as it is not only a direct reflection of the importance the search engines give to your content, but also determine how quickly your fresh content will be updated and indexed in the search engines too
