Google Crawl Rate - Webmaster Tools

    On webmaster tools, under Settings, has anyone ever played with the crawl rate settings? What does it do?

    yup.
    setting googlebot crawl rate.
    i set it more frequent if my site frequently updated.

    It tells googlebot to index more page per day. I used it only once, my new site had more than 20000 pages and I wanted to them get indexed quickly.

    Fast doesn't mean they will start indexed 100 pages a day. I think I never saw more than 20 per day :)
