    Hi guys,
I wasn't sure where to post this and I'm a 2.0 speed person so I hope if you know the answer you can put it into easy to understand terms. I need your help. I just bought domain for making a design blog it is www.design-swag.com and so I bought it and started using fat cow and wordpress to create my blog. I was really pleased with the way it turned out but hen I added my google webmaster tools about three days later it showed like 91 pages unfound crawl errors out the wazoo etc. I only have a few pages so I immediately knew something was strangely amiss. Then I noticed these were cache titles and I ssume pages of an old site that must have had my same domain name - the activity dated back to May of 2012 but I could not bring up any pages in Google or cached pages. Obviously someone had the same domain name back then had a crapload of pages and stuff and deleted it from (the web?) when the domain went up for sale. Now how does this impact me? Will I somehow be penalized from indexing if google has been trying to find these pages since May and they aren't there? How do you tell Google the website is all brand new and updated? I look in Alexa and there is one link but it's not showing any cache anywhere of the old pages. I am wondering this is there a way to update a site to the web showing it's different or will this impact my google crawl rate. I don't want to be penalized for whoever else yanked their site and google has dropped the indexed pages.

    I hope this makes sense.
    Cindy
