Hello all, my first post here, so if this has been covered somewhere else just point me in the right direction. I've been seeing a steady rise in minimum bids in a lot of my Adwords campaigns and I'm guessing I'm not the only one. I miss my old 25 cent clicks...maybe you know the feeling I read there was a glitch in their pricing in February that got "fixed" but this didn't seem to affect any of my campaigns - still as expensive as ever. Any strategies you've found to deal with this problem (other than buying inventory elsewhere which is just about all I'm doing these days)? I've been playing around with phrase matching rather than broad matching in my keywords without seeing much difference so far. Oh yeah, and if you've got a strategy you don't feel like sharing in a public forum feel free to PM it to me - thanks!
The highest minimum bids I'm seeing in my campaigns are $10. But I'm sure they go a lot higher than that...I wonder what's the highest anyone's seen. $50 minimum? $100? This could get interesting...
That's insane. Must've been for a medical lawsuit or something. Wish it made me feel better about my measly $10 minimums. But it doesn't. And it's not like my ads are crap either - decent CTRs for relevant keywords, filling a nice niche lower on the page from the big players. I guess that's not enough anymore. I keep hoping it's still that glitch from last month but I doubt it.
