Google cracking down on domains using its trademarks

    Yup, they're definitely enforcing the no-trademarks-in-domain rule now. C'est la vie. If you didn't remove the ads yourself, you'd see them suddenly stop displaying anyhow.

    IANAL (I am not a lawyer), but I wouldn't think so, because neither the spelling nor the pronounciation (in English, at least) would make anyone confuse them with "Google" and "AdSense". But it's up to Google to decide, really.

    what if i have a url like domain.com/google-adwords.html or domain.com/google-adsense.html? Do I violate their trademark?

    Technically, yes, but I don't think they'll go after you for that. Not yet, at least. There are so many pages out there with Google trademarks in them....
