Does anyone know if a CPM ad from Google registers a click when clicked?

I'm pretty sure it just goes by the purposed CPM because that's where your making your money. They don't care if the end user 'clicks' as much as if the banner is displayed PM

I know for a fact that it does. Just like PPC ads, just a flat rate.

It definately registers a click, but I'm not sure if it displays it to publishers.

My CPM ads in adwords gives me CTR details on all my CPM ads.
