    Hello,
I need some advice about this adwords feature. Because i want to try it now.
So here is the situation - i have fresh website that get traffic only from ppc (no seo , refferals ). I have GA with enabled e-commerce on it of course for stats. So i want to know for example if visitor go to my site from "keyword1" spending some time on it. Then after some days he makes a transaction. I want to know if this transaction shows in AW from "keyword1" or AW just discount it ? Or i see that transaction was from keyword1 ? Because at the moment i see that i get transactions from organic google traffic with branded search terms and also direct hits.

Adwords conversion tracker has a 30-day cookie. It will show for the keyword that triggered your ad on the date they clicked on it. So if I click your ad on Monday and make the purchase on Friday, your stats will show that conversion for the keyword and ad I clicked for your Monday stats. If you use Analytics by the way, it will show a transaction on Friday.

Oh , Thank you for reply!
And btw one more thing : does conversion tracking works in real time? In other words if conversion was made same day as user clicked on ad - do i see it immediately in my AW , or there are any delays with it ?

None of the Adwords stats are real time. There is some delay so there's no use in checking today's stats.

They are not even updated at the same time. It is possible to see a keyword with one click and no impressions if you happen to look at the right time. Stats are updated at the group level first, then the campaign level (they hardly ever match during the day). Conversion data is updated last and can take up to 24 hours but usually follows the typical 3-hour delay as with other stats.

Yes, Google attributing conversions at the time-of-click is the worst part about google. We use Yahoo multi-channel analytics to track our Google conversions at our agency because they attribute at time-of-conversion.
