Google Content network banners - no impressions

I just set up for the first time Google content network banners with about 40 sites, .50/c per click and it has been 3 days already. I see 0 impressions only for each site! How long does it take for banners to get approved? Is my .50/c too low, if it is then i should see at least a few impressions from 40 sites. Very strange ... what could be causing this?

depending on your niche, that CPC might be too low also. It's often difficult to get banner impressions started, but after you start getting clicks then you can try reducing bids to bring costs down.

Yup, banner ads generally takes longer to be approved.
You can contact Google support to find out if it is still pending approval.
I do that sometimes and it seems to help speed up the approval process.

It took me a few weeks to get approved but was worth the wait.

By the way, then I am starting an image ad campaign I'll always upload as many images as I might want to test later. That way you will get them all approved up front. Then just pause most of them and split test a few and work the others into the testing later.
