Google have certain parameters that are needed to be followed in order to rank well for any particular keyword, Google love content this will always be a winner as far as websites are concerned. Make sure you content is key, spend time and regularly update your sites.

Quality content that is unique with targeted keywords (not stuffed all over in content) but a few sprinkled in so Google knows what your content is about and regular updating will certainly help. Don't forget quality backlinks too to gain authority.

One other good points to remember is that you should write your content for the keywords as well. Don't slather them everywhere but include them in the natural flow of your copy.

 

I think you are all correct in your understanding of Google. Google has been so institutionalized into our lives and it answers the need for practically everything that we can think of. Imagine a world without Google? Impossible isn't it? Maybe those guys who discovered the new planet should rename it from Kepler to Google..
