Google content farm algorithm and article submission

There was a Google algorithm update based on content farm on 24th Feb. The impact due to this update is 11.8% specially on Google.com. Google updated it's algorithm against content spamming. Now I need to know if I submit an article to different article directories, will Google consider this article submission as content spamming?? Please let me know your opinions.

    Thanks in advance.

Why would that be considered as content spamming?

I use networks like UAW,Article Ranks, etc and have had no problems with my rankings. They have actually improved since the update so I would so don't worry about it.

It wouldn't hurt you but it probably wouldn't help you much either. The whole point of the update was to stop giving traffic to low-grade SEO articles.

The sites that were most impacted by this were those big article directories like ezine Articles.

I think google considers article submission as a kind of link spamming and article directories as link farms. In my opinion they can get their old ranks back if they remove dofollow links from the articles. But it is not easy for them since they don't own the articles. Also who will submit an article without a backlink? So, all of these are considered as manipulating search results.

That's pretty good insight. Article submissions still works very well. The issue is the quality of the articles being submitted. I provide article submission services and my articles get indexed in a matter of minutes. I believe strongly in article submissions, but its got to be done right. Google, and for that matter, any search engine cannot exist without articles to which they will link a user searching on their search engines to. If done correctly, article submissions can reap great benefits. You may take a look at the service I provide here: http://www.trafficlink.us/articles.php. Good luck to all.

If the content is good and worth the links, then it would help you surely. But if its an rewritten copied article from a high traffic blog or forum or website, then it won't help. Google has changed its algorithm but it still helps links with quality articles.

Why don't you start a wordpress blog or a forum on a .com?
That's where the money is at - build content, build traffic, and profit.

Google has done this change to remove spam from serach results, and to provide better user experience, as far as you are doing good, you've nothing to do with it

I think it's better to play safe. In my opinion using unique content is the right choice at this moment. But I am not sure about UAW contents.

Content from AMA, UAW and other blog networks are spun content and should not be flagged as duplicate content. It is not like article directories and other places where the same content is used. If I get slapped by spun content, then what is the future of all these blog networks like AMA, MAN, UAW, Seolinkvine, etc

Instant article will not help much now a days so its better to submit to your article on quality sites which take appropriate time to judge your article, whether your article match their criteria or not
