I got an email from Google adsense support, mentioning some of my pages (in my CMS created page, which I didn't notice) were empty, no content so they asked me to remove the adsense code from it, because it is against their usage policy. and gave me 3 days time to take action. :)

They didn't ban my account :)

Did it happen to you, please share..

    Thanks

Even I got a warning that I was using some illegal traffic sources to drive the traffic to my site.
But, I didn't understand them. However.. I just stopped promoting my site for a week and then
started as usual. However, Congrats! Now, Did you remove the ads from empty pages?????

They are pretty fair when its genuine mistakes, they only get heavy on the scammers, if the rest of your Adsense is legit and you fix what they asked you too then you will be fine. I know a lot of people who had warnings, and a lot who got banned, and everyone who got banned was trying to scam Adsense, Google is amazingly good at getting the bad guys.

Makes me wonder how many people get a warning, don't follow the warnings for long, then get banned.

And how many just get banned instantly.

Don't worry just remove the ads from the empty pages.

And maybe you can send them an email saying you have rectified the problem.

I only heard of people getting warned recently. It used to be Google would just ban you with no explanation. It's nice to see that Google is being considerate to its adsense users, and giving them a chance to fix their mistakes.

yeah I think google has changed its policy of directly banning the users for some exploitation of rules.I too am hearing lots of cases of being warned which previously were directly banned due to that reason.

    Good for us.

Awesome. I hope this is the policy from now on. Warn first, not ban first.

Yep something similar happened to me a few months back when 1 of my celebs site [actually only a few pages] were violating googles tos so they asked me to remove the adsense ads from those pages.. I did so and I'm living happily since then :p

Never happened to me, but that's so good if they warn before they decide to ban an account.

As I have observed the reason Google gives is invalid click for banning without warning.

that's interesting i suppose it depends on how long you have been with them, if you are new they give you more of a chance
