have not recieved decent traffic from google from long time earlier it use to be around 100-150 vistors per day now it is 10-15.... hope this gets solved soon
i think he mis-type it. maybe he meant hope not have a problem by the way, google is up now. im seeing traffic back to normal. i will post a screenshot if i can find time
Lately I have been getting less traffic, but I wasn't sure why, maybe the googlebot is responsible maybe it isn't
Google is /was up and running smoothly as usual, its the SERP result bounces that shakes our pockets. Currently My 80% Traffic is down. Just due to Google Taking my site out of SERP or placing it in a place where no human goes apart from Robots.
the serp results haven´t changed for me, but in the last week googlebot has been very quiet (crawling only 25% more or less than the usual)
I have a PR3 site that's been around since 2004. I woke up this morning to find my site gone from the first result in Google to page 7, for my own site name. And, all of my high ranked article pages are no where to be found in the search results. You can find everyone who's linked to my articles, but not me. Whatever is going on, I hope they fix it soon or I might as well just get out of the business. I think I liked this better before I put Adsense on my site. Then, it was just a fun project that ate up my time and kept me out trouble.
Did some more checking and I found I was being hit with a duplicate content penalty. I removed my content from Zimbio...wonder how long it will take to come back up in the rankings? Never use the auto promote option there.
I'm seeing a major drop in traffic & revenue derived from google. MSN Live has picked up though, as did Yahoo. Yet, I'm ranking in about the top 10 on most of keywords on one niche, and about 1-5 on the other major niche that I have. I'm thinking the drop in traffic has to do with the great weather in my area. People are outside, not using the computer.
CBrooker makes sense. Have you all checked the ips of the bots? We've seen fluctuations from time to time and it's usually associated with a switchover in the ip of the bot visiting our site.
when people are outside, it will not cause a sudden drop in traffic. so you mean those people who are outside are googlees? promomanagers if there is switchover of ip, it cant be happening to so many people at the same time. if you see the chart, it looks more like a breakdown. a switchover shouldn't cause a sudden breakdown. even though i am not sure what is this switchover.
Yes I have noticed it too, my site went from a ranking from page 2 to page 3 at the bottom, which was very weird as the stuff I did is suppose to Improve the SERP not drop it down.
We both are have the same story. I'm hoping what ever this is either gets fixed or I'm really devastated by this new GD [ Google Dance]
