Hi there, I recently stumbled across digitalpoint.com and found it really useful, especially your keyword search which allows you to search through common keywords and find out just exactly how many times that term has been searched for with Overture. I had a couple of quick questions which I thought some of you may be able to help me with, if not point me in the right direction! I understand Google and Overture are completely different, and I'm not trying to put them on the same level but I was wondering: the term I searched for stated that there were over 45,000 requests per day through overture for that exact term. The phrase I searched for in this example was 'online casino'. My questions are: 1) How much bigger in size would Google be in comparison to the Overture network? I believe Google manages over 200 million searches a day, do you have any idea how many Overture does? 2) How well do you think the most common searches for Overture would compare to the most common searches of other top search engines and directories? 2) Do you know of any site that has a similar function for common keyword requests, but for Google? I doubt such site would exist but I thought I would ask :/ Thanks a lot! )
I also use this multiplier MSN = 1 Yahoo = 2x Google = 4x In my estimation Yahoo is 2 times bigger tha MSN... and Google is 4 time bigger than MSN (or twice as big as Yahoo) big = searches
I'd say Google is a LOT higher than Overture, more like x10 at least... btw shameless plug: Keyword Supply vs Demand Tool It uses Overture and Google, hope you find it useful
