Google.com and not Google Canada...

Our site http://www.capitaldatarecovery.com can be perfectly seen if you go to google.com or google.ca and search for it. However if you go to google.ca and check the radio button "pages from Canada", then it's not visible. (keyword "data recovery ottawa").
Why is that happening? At first I thought it was because of the *.com *.ca domain, but then I see other domains that have *.com visible there.
I did submit the site about 3 years ago to google.com and google.ca

Confused.... weird.... :( Can someone help? Explain?

    Thank you

P.S. Just checked. The same is happening with MSN...
type "data recovery ottawa" and we are #1 in MSN, however if you select (pages from canada only) - we are not there.
    Where is the secret?

    Hi
Where is your site hosted that could be the issue ?

The 'pages from' links are selected according the IP address of the host so if you are hosted in the states then that would be normal ...

Yes, I am hosted in States (Florida). The thing is - two of the other sites that are visible are also hosted by the same server. Why are they visible and mine isn't?

I don't know why to be honest ...

You should try the geolocalisation tool from google webmaster tools. They are allowing you to set you country of origin. That could do the trick.

Otherwise, you could try to get more link 'canada based' ...

    Sorry I can't help more

How long does it normally take after I change that setting in Webmaster Tools? It's been 9 days and I don't see a difference.

Actually this is quite a new feature and everyone is still lacking of feedback on it ...

It a test a month or so ago for one of my sites and I've not really noticed any difference in the SERP for the a search on the main google but if you enable the option "Page from: ..." now I do appear! So it did the trick.

Just be patient and you'll appear there soon ;)
