Hi I have around 5 websites, plus I have around 5 websites I do SEO on for clients Are people noticing in the UK the last week or two, google serps are going nuts, up and down. Many of my websites are changing quite drastically on a day to day basis, sometimes a few times a day. Are people noticing this alot with there own websites? I appreciate there is still alot of buzz about caffeine going around, wish it would all just settle as I have no idea what my positions are going to be when it settles, its so different each day.
I have noticed with some of my sites that are still considered a new status, with less than two years old. I have not noticed about fluctuated with some strong and well established website. I think the caffeine update is rolling and hard to predict the date.
Yeah I am also experiencing same fluctuations on some of my websites, but this is probably Google dance and will be resolve soon.
It could be possible that search engines are updating their databases. During this period you will see fluctuation in rankings which is normal.
My site's SERP also having it's unusual ups and downs at the moment. But, I have no worries because I have build backlinks to strengthen it's position and write a couple new fresh unique content for it. Hope it will be over soon. Best of luck, guys.
I have noticed that a lot of older sites are also up and down. Some which I have seen in the first 2 positions for some keywords for more than a year have started jumping down to page 2 and then back up on a daily basis.
