Google Chromebook - Who is Getting One?

    I wanted to bring this thread back to the top again. I'm considering getting a Chromebook. I rarely use any of the software on my laptop apart from Word and my Chrome browser, so the cloud philosophy works well for me. The long battery life (6 to 8.5hrs) is also very appealing. What are your thoughts peeps?

    OK, I just answered my own question. I've discovered that the Chrome OS does not support Java. Since several of the sites I use have Java, this is a show stopper for me. My relationship with Windows continues...

    I think it's been a flop I've heard nothing about it since the launch I still don't think it's available in Australia. It seems to be targeted more for the business market.
