I have been examining both browsers and sometimes they give different SERP results for targeted keywords. Especially Google Chrome shows the changed meta tags earlier than Explorer. Do you think that Google Chrome will be the future of Explorer in terms of SERP results?
There is no difference in browser interms of SERP. The change in results may differ due to other many factors like, browsing history, coockies etc...
browser display or the search engine displays are the different things browser are use to open our web pages or SERP results are depends upon the site backlinks or traffic.
Yea, you have a flawed experiment...browsing history, ip, and other factors will taint your results...
I beg to differ. I've done the same thing as the OP, and I get different results in Googe Chrome and Explorer. And I clear my browing history, and my cookies. It's funny to see the OP write what he/she does, because I've noticed the same thing; changes in the SERP usually come eariler in Chrome than in IE. If the Chrome SERP hav been changed, then the IE SERP would most likely get changed the same way a week or so later.
